This Ikkat knee length dress comes with wooden buttons and yellow belt. To make an Ikkat Dress is a complex process. It starts with warp and weft of threads that are tied together with bands to achieve the resist dyeing technique. After a variety of colored patterns are made this way, the artisans then start the process of weaving threads to make intricate patterns. The belt and the buttoned down strip is made of yellow south cotton. South cotton is made with pure cotton sourced from southern India which is known for its durability and softness.
